In Freestyle Women (55Kg) Geeta won the Gold and became the first Indian woman to qualify for London Olympic ... She also become 3rd wrestler to qualify with Yogeshwar Dutt and Amit Kumar.
After winning the first 2 matches easily in the semis Geeta was down 0-4 against Aiym ... Geeta fought back won the second round 3-0 but she was still 3-4 down ... Geeta dominated the final round to won it comfortably, 6-0, and book her ticket for London ... In the final she faced Korean wrestler ... Geeta won the final on technical points.
