Only Somi is playing at Newport ... I think Rohan and Aisam decide to skip this tournament after their quarter-final run at Wimbledon, so nobody r in doubles draw ... Also surprisingly Kash is also missing, hoping not another injury scare.
Somi is facing experienced American Kevin Kim in the first round ... Last year at Chennai Open Somi defeated Kim in straight sets, 63 63, but later at Charlottesville Challenger final Somi lost against him in 3 sets, 46 76(8) 46 ... Hopefully Somi will continue to keep his upper-hand on Kim on ATP tour.
