At 2008 Olympic Qualifier, Santiago, Chile

India bt Russia 8-0

Goal Scored - Dilip Tirkey (PC) 14', Prabhjot Singh 19' 29' & 65', Shivendra Singh 30', Tushar Khandekar 36', Sardar Singh 45', V.R. Raghunath (PC) 54'

Other matches -
Great Britain bt Mexico 11-0
Austria bt Chile 4-3

Ok we won ... But frankly I wasn't happy with our performance in this match ... Considering our whole dominance in the match we should won this match (atleast) with 20-0 scoreline ... But our forward line missed too many chances ... No variation in penalty corner drills on field but what was shocking 2 times our player couldn't manage to stop ball cleanly.

Then our usual problem of sloppy passing and unrequited fouls ... Also problem of player holding ball for extra time to give opponent chance of winning it back.

We need major improvement on all this issue if we r hoping to match and beat England.

It was interesting to see Sardara playing as defensive mid-field position and Raghunath was playing in left-flanks.
