At AFC Under-16 football championship, Dammam, Saudi Arabia

India bt Sri Lanka 6-0
India drew Iraq 2-2
India bt Lebanon 3-0
India bt Saudi Arabia 3-0

With this win we almost secure our place in the final stage of Asian Championship next year, where 12 (or 14? ) top Asian teams will battle for u17 FIFA World Cup place ... Top 4 teams from Asian Championship will qualify for u17 FIFA World Cup ... Colin Toal is doing a great job with these kids, and also don't forget they had a very succesful tour to Germany so credit to the AIFF.

At the tender age of 15 years and 4 months, Yuki Bhambri was won the Asia/Oceania junior tennis champion (i.e. a championship which was open only to participants from Asia and Oceania Australia and New Zealand) in singles and doubles ... Poojashree also won doubles title and will move around #40 in ITF Girls ranking ... And with this win Yuki will take huge jump from #96 to somewhere around #35 in ITF Boys ranking.
