Table Tennis -
Indian men's team performed poorly ... Really disappointed performance from our team ... First they loose to young English side in pre-quarterfinals and squandered the chance to qualify for the Division I.

After loosing match against England, our boys continued poor performance in play-offs ... They began disastrously against Argentina with Sharath Kamal and Subhajit Saha losing the first two matches against their Argentine opponents.

Anjali Bhagwat earned an Olympic quota place in women's 50 m rifle three position event at the ISSF World Cup at Resende in Brazil ... Bhagwat finished fourth in the event on Saturday but was awarded the berth since the top three finishers had already qualified for Olympics to be held in Beijing, China in 2008.
