I know that no Indian players were playing yesterday .. But couldn't resist to put comments about couple of matches.
Yesterday Roger Federer had tough time against qualifier Diego Hartfield ... He defeated him 75 76 (2) 62 ... Roger Federer wasn't pleased to be playing, although his attitude was more akin to someone called in to work when he expected to relax on a day off.... Maria Sharapova also had her reservation about playing on Sunday due to injury where she saved three match points to beat Mashona Washington ... Sharapova was struggling with her game and ankle injury ... In decider she fought back from 2-5 to won this match ... Final score was 62 57 75.
Juan Antonio Marin career mark at grandslams dropped to 0-17 on Sunday, when he lost 75 63 63 to 1998 champion Carlos Moya in the first round of the French Open ... No man has ever lost that many Grand Slam matches without winning one.
Also this week Rafa is ATP's official blogger .at French Open .. After reading Dima's funny posts, Rafa looks more serious ..
