At Wimbledon 2018, London, Great Britain

[QF] Divij Sharan (IND)/ Artem Sitak (NZL) l (7) Mike Bryan (USA)/ Jack Sock (USA) 67(4) 67(5) 76(3) 46

Again slow start for Divij and Artem as they lost the first 2 sets in the tie-breaks against Bryan and Sock ... Both pairs saved a lot of break points but Sock and Bryan played better tie-breaks ... The third set also went to the tie-break, but this time Divij and Artem took control for the start to lead 6-2 ... They converted the 2nd set point for taking the match into the fourth set ... The first break of the match came into the 1st game of the fourth set when Bryan and Sock broke Artem ... Divij and Artem broke back in the 4th game breaking Bryan when he committed foot fault and the double fault on last 2 points ... I felt Artem choked in the 9th game on his serve, after 13 mins of the game he committed two double faults after 6th deuce to lose the game ... Sock held it comfortably for a win ... In this match, Artem struggled with his serve and it cost them dearly in this close match.

[R1] (1) Austin Krajicek (USA)/ Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan (IND) vs Mitchell Krueger (USA)/ Alex Lawson (USA)

It seems RamK failed to adjust to the hard courts after the grass court season ... Still, this was a bad loss for RamK.

Jeevan-Austin r the top-seed and facing Americans Lawson-Krueger.

At $50K+H Bastad Challenger 2018, Sweden

[R1] Sumit Nagal (IND,253) l (Q) Filip Horansky (SVK,287) 26 retd.

Sumit retired after losing the first set ... Sometimes I get confused why some of the players risk playing when they are injured.

[R2] (3) Karman Kaur Thandi (IND,225) vs Xu Liu Sun (CHN,428)

Karman started with three sets win over Zhanlan Wei ... Next, she is facing the top-450 Chinese girl, Xu Liu Sun ... Other hands, surprised by the one-sided loss of Rutuja after her last week's performance.

At $25K ITF Women's Tournament 2018, Nonthaburi, Thailand

A really bad draw for Pranjala as she faced her senior compatriot Ankita in the first round ... She gave a fighting performance but Ankita managed to win it in three sets ... Ankita is facing Aussie qualifier in the second round.
