At 4th The Kennedy Funding Invitational 2009, New York
[SF] Somdev Devvarman (IND,132) bt Wayne Odesnik (USA,106) 36 64 75
[F] Somdev Devvarman (IND,132) vs John Isner (USA,96)
Somdev produced excellent comeback win to reached 3rd final in a row at his favorite venue of the Kennedy Funding Invitational ... After Odesnik won first set Som showed his never die attitude and fought until end to scripted exciting victory ... This close win will helped Somi to increase his confidence as currently he is struggling on tour with low of confidence.
In the final he is facing his old foe on court but very good friend outside the court, John Isner ... Both r facing eachother first time after their epic NCAA final in 2007 ... This match can give us good picture of Somi's game after a year on tour.

But Rajeev Ram having excellent run at Newport ... Jesse Levine tested him in quarter-final but he scored comeback victory ... Rajeev is in his first singles final and he is also in doubles final with Australian Jordan Kerr.
