Saina showed clinical performance to win match in straight games ... Arvind was leading 11-9 in the first game but from there Joachim won next 12 pts to won the game ... In second game Arvid saved 3 match points, he fought back from 18-20 to won this game ... But Joachim was too strong in third game.

Other hand Anup couldn't managed to produce his game and lost his consecutive 2nd match against Sairul Amar Ayob.

In quarter-finals Saina facing Indonasian Firdasari Adrianti, who defeated top seed and WR #5 Hongyan Pi.
