Until end of 6 rounds Anand was struggling to score his first win ... But after win in 7th round it seems Anand is on roll ... Today only one match produced result and in that Anand scored big win against GM Veselin Topalov playing with whites ... So after 8 rounds, Anand having 4½ pts and he is currently T4 th position.

Disappointing draw for Hari against more than 80 elo points lower rank Netherlands GM Erwin L’Ami playing with whites ... Humpy managed to draw her game playing with blacks against highly rank (2700 elo pts) French GM Etienne Bacrot.

In grandmaster group C event, Parimarjan Negi scored another victory against Netherland's GM Zhaoqin Peng ... With this win Negi moved to 5 pts and T3 in the standing.
