So atlast Anand managed to win his first match in ongoing Corus tournament ... It was a long wait until 7th round ... Anand defeated Polgar playing with blacks ... Now Anand is on T5 th position with 3½ pts ... In 8th round he is playing important match with whites against Topalov.

In grandmaster group B, Hari managed to draw his match against Russian GM Nepomniachtchi playing with blacks but other hand Humpy scored exciting win against highly ranked Polsh GM Krasenkow playing with whites ... Now after 7 rounds Hari T3 rd position with 4 pts and Humpy is T10 th position with 3 pts.

In grandmaster group C event, Parimarjan Negi shooked off his 6th round defeat to beat USA's WGM Irina Krush ... Negi is on 4 pts and T6 th position.
