Somi started positively and break Tips serve in 4th game ... In next game Somi was down 0-40 on his serve but saved all to hold his serve to lead 4-1 ... Somi missed opportunity of breaking Tips serve in 6th game and then Tips broke him at luv in 7th game to bring set on serve, 4-3 ... Tips played loose 8th game making few unforced errors and then double faulted to gave break back to Somi, 5-3 ... But Somi couldn't hold to win first set and Tips broke back ... In 12th game Somi had couple of set points which he couldn't convert, 6-all ... In ti-break Somi was initially down 0-3 but had another couple of set points at 6-4 but Tips saved both ... Then had another couple of set points but failed to take ... Tips won tie-break at 11-9 ... Somi had 6 set points opportunities but failed to take any.
After losing this long first set Somi couldn't fight much in next set ... He got broken twice before losing the set ... It must be tiring as this was his 5th match in as many days in LA heat.
In doubles Rohan and Aisam comeback strongly in the match after losing first set in tie-break against British pair ... Next they r facing experienced players Frenchman Clement and Israeli Erlich.
