As usual big Indian contingent participated in it ... In shocking event 5 times Pro Billiards World champion Geet Sethi lost in group stage.
4 Indians reached in quarters and 3 managed to reach in semis ... In semis Pankaj won see-saw battle against Dhruv, with whom he lost in group stage ... Now in the final current IBSF World Champion Pankaj Advani facing defending Pro Billiards World champion and defending champion Mike Russell.
Putting my efforts to support Indian players with publishing their results for fans all over the world and also for benefit of media people.

Pankaj is IBSF World Champion, not Amateur World Champion. There is no such thing as amateur in billiards. He is a professional playing IBSF. If he was amateur, then how would he be allowed to play in both the leagues?
IBSF and WPBSA are parallel bodies and conduct their own world championships.
Thanks for pointing my mistake ... Updated above post.
