As expected good start with easy wins for Saina and Chetan ... Anup started well after almost 6 months injury-break, he won match against similar ranked local player in straight games ... Chetan and Anup will have tough task in second round, as Chetan is facing Danish WR #5 Peter Gade and Anup will face Indonasian WR #4 Sony Kuncoro.
In mixed doubles promising start for Diju and Jwala ... In second round they r facing local pair.
Aditi played exceptionally well against top-10 player Wang winning first game, she was with Wang until 16-all in second game but then Wang showed her experience to win second game ... In third game Wang started well taking 1-4 lead but Aditi kept fighting and won consecutive 3 points to take 15-11 lead but again Wang came back strongly winning next 5 points to take 15-16 lead ... Aditi produced another fight back from 16-19 to 19-all ... But in end Wang showed her huge experience of big matches to win match 19-21 in 47 minutes.
P. Kashyap also produced decent performance against WR. #5 Peter Gade to stretch him until 3rd game ... But surprising loss of Anand against lowly ranked Taipei's qualifier ... Very disappointing effort by Anand in this 66 minutes match.
Putting my efforts to support Indian players with publishing their results for fans all over the world and also for benefit of media people.
