So with this solid win Sasi will become second Indian player rated above 2700 ELO rating ... As per Chess live rating site, Sasi will move his ELO rating to 2720.7 and he will be rank #20 in FIDE rating.

But this tournament's performance will not be considered for January 2009 FIDE list update, so we need to wait until April 2009 list to official announcement ... Next Sasi is playing at Corus 2009 in Group B tournament.

In January 2009 updated FIDE list Sasi reached to his personal best ELO rating 2711 and he also re-enters into top-25 with his good performance in Croatian league.
