Mixed Doubles Final -
(5) Cara Black (ZIM)/ Leander Paes (IND) bt Liezel Huber (USA)/ Jamie Murray (GBR) 76(6) 64
In closely fought first set, where no pair managed to break other's service, Lee and Cara won in tie-break after saving 2 set poits ... In second set on 5th game Lee and Cara broke Jamie's serve and take lead ... They had 3 break points on Huber's serve in 7th game but somehow Huber managed to hold her serve ... So with this only break in the match they won second set and the match ... Match was close as winner won battle 73-68 pts.
This is Lee's 4th MXD grandslam title and total 8th grandslam title ... Heartily congratulation to Lee and Cara for 2008 US Open Mixed Doubles title!!!
