Really happy to see Arjun in top of Indian contingent ... He is truly coming back to form which was missing last 2 years ... Sad to see poor rounds from Jyoti and Shiv, now they need to do lot of chasing in last 2 rounds to finish inside top 10 ... After yesterday's disappointing round by Jeev, I was hoping fighting performance from him ... But he repeated yesterday's score of +5 ... Ernie scored 2 under round to make cut and he is currently at T44 with +1 score.

Very poor quality match between Bops and Dustov ... Both players were making too many UFEs and mis-hits, but I m not blaming them for this poor show ... Delhi grass court sucks, the balls were taking unpredictable wierd bounces.
Second match was much more competitive than what score line suggested ... Both players were playing from baseline and showed tremendous skill ... But Denis showed what lacking in Buji's game, i.e. killing punch ... Buji retrieve anything but still couldn't find weapon to finish long rallies ... Hope he will add that missing tool in his game in remaining days of college.

Nice to see SSP, Rahil, Digvijay, Harmeet and Ashok Kumar in top 40 ... But disappointed by Gaurav and more importantly with Jeev ... After last week's decent performance at Dubai Classic, I was hoping ddecent start from Jeev ... But now tomorrow he needs to change hisd approach of playing safe on this course and need to attack to produce good round to make cut ... Big Easy, who scored +3, also in trouble and need to put solid second round, which he is capable of.

Only Akhil Kumar managed to reach final so with that he becomes the second Indian boxer to qualify for olympics ... Other 3 Indian boxers lost in the semi-finals ... Akhil Kumar joined A L Lakra (57kg), who qualified from last year's World Championship in Chicago.
Another impressive thing about Akhil Kumar's win is, in this tournament he won every match with RSCOS (Referee Stop Contest Outscored) in R3 ... So now in the final he will face Athens Olympics silver medallist Thai boxer Worapoj Petchkoom.

Sania is playing with injury an inflamed upper hamstring on the left leg, today (Saturday) morning she was planning to do an MRI, but the result of the test will not stop her from playing the final.
Sania's father Imran Mirza - "Sania has an inflamed upper hamstring on the left leg. She got injured during her singles match against Venus Williams. She needs rest, but this is a Grand Slam final. She is willing to play on one leg if the situation demands. She is very determined and I'm hoping that the 48 hours rest before the final will help."
