In the second set also she was 5-3 break up and serving for the set ... Clerici broke her in 9th game but Pranjala broke her in 12th game for taking the match into decider ... In the final set, Pranjala was trailing 1-4 but from here she made excellent comeback ... Pranjala won next 5 games losing mere 8 points and broke Clerici 3 times for superb win.

Before that, Pranjala had showed terrific consistency in her game as she defeated 2015 junior Austrian open champion Tereza Mihalikova in the quarters and then Russian girl Yashina in the semis.
