India bt Malaysia 2-1 (11)
Goal Scorers - Rupinder Pal Singh (IND) 12' PC and 58' PC and Razie Rahim (MAS) 18' PC

We were lucky for winning this match as Malaysian were looking better than us ... Again we failed in defending, mid-field and forwardline .. Our passing, trapping, crossing, defending and intercepting were poor ... Only bright spot for us was reserve goalkeeper Akash Chikte, who made some acrobatic saves ... Rupinder was poor in defending and passing but converted 2 penalty corners from four for a win..

Disappointing performance by Indian contingent in the singles ... Only Saki and Prajnesh managed to win but that also against Indian opponents ... RamK's straights sets loss against lower ranked Frenchman was hurting as he needs to take advantage of such weak draw and wining more matches at home challenger ... Sumit missed golden opportunity of beating his top-250 ranked Spanish opponent ... He was serving for the match at 6-5 in the second set and was 30-all ... He failed to hold his serve and in tie-break he was 0-3 down ... Sumit won next 6 points for leading 6-3 ... He failed to convert any match point and lost 5 points in a row for losing the set .. Andrian took early break in the third and kept that advantage for wining it.

Expected winning start for Lee with Ramk against Anvit and Sidharth ... In quarters I was hoping better performance by Vishnu and Bala but Jeevan and VSP r in the semis with comfortable win.
